Dr. Margaret (Meg) Hiers - Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Margaret Hiers, a native Georgian, is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and Dartmouth College.

After a yearlong internship in San Antonio, Texas, she has been practicing small animal medicine in Georgia since 2008. In addition to helping keep her patients happy and healthy with preventative medicine, her main clinical interests include internal medicine and improving the long-term management of chronic diseases.

During the Fall, she, her dogs Moses and Annabelle, and her three cats Shiva, Sebastian, and Annie, passionately follow their beloved Georgia Bulldogs. She is an avid, if not particularly skilled, snow skier. She relishes the opportunities, both locally and while traveling, to dust off half-remembered teachings from her days as an academic classical archaeologist.
